Personal Set Of Instructions- Ivy Petersen

1)      Go and make yourself comfortable in any room of your choosing.

2)      Take out a fresh sheet of paper and something to write with.

3)      Take a moment and close your eyes and listen to all the sounds around you, even the subtle ones.

4)      Now draw how you think that sound looks.

5)      Now explain why you think it looks this way.

1st time) I think that this sound looks like a lawnmower because of its low monotonous noise in the background.

2nd time) This noise was very high pitched which is why I drew a mouse screaming.to

3rd time) Since there was hardly any noise in this room lessen my tinnitus all I could hear was the ringing in my ears which is what I imaging what an astronaut would hear.

4th time) Since I was in an area with more people I imagined how a play or a movie theater sounds before the show begins.
5th time) The girl next to me was crinkling up a lot of paper which to me sounded like someone chewing really noisily.
