Sensory Deprivation Noble Kelsch

I had a very difficult time doing this because nothing came to mind that wasn't already done for a very long time. Or that I felt was worth doing. But I just decided to go with three things. One was to sit in silence with noise canceling headphones in and listen to silence for a moment, and then open up my mind to a single word and then try to explain where that word came from. I did this fifteen times.

1. Adderall- at first I didn't understand this. But then I thought about how overly active my brain has been and then remembered adderall is an adhd medication and it kind of made sense to me.
2. Fetus- because I have been watching many things and thinking about abortion and its morality and why I believe what I believe on it.
3. Nervous- because I was nervous that I would show up without my assignment being handed in again.
4. Armor- I am close to starting on creating an outfit of a character I created which would be my first step towards making suits of armor.
5. Anthem- video game I played that I found entertaining but debated on its potential.
6. Guilty- felt guilty about not going to class because I had to get a lot of stuff done that day.
7. Pleasant- random thoughts about physically attractive women that I know which led to...
8. Attractive- my fiance is absolutely awesome. She can be gorgeous, cute, beautiful and I love her.
9. Silence- I enjoy silence and find it relaxing.
10. Purpose- I have been attempting to find a genuine purpose that will drive me forward and give my life meaning for a while. I'm close, but I still don't know for sure. Closest I've got to an answer is children.
11. Food- I'm hungry and haven't eaten yet.
12. Health- I want to workout and eat more to take care of myself better.
13. Friends- For nearly the first time since I was 10-12 I have people that I might actually consider my friends. It's a very interesting thing to consider and I'm doing my best to adapt to it.
14. Fraud- How I feel about my art a lot of the time. Like I don't belong because a lot of mine isn't as 'deep' as other art.
15. False- My thoughts about my thoughts of my art from the previous word.

The next thing I did was thinking about my idea of sense of color. And the idea of whether or not all of us see colors the same way. or if we switched eyes, the world would be completely different. Example below.

The third thing I dealt with was sense of self. And I thought about DnD, or Dungeons and Dragons. A game in which you play as a separate entity and control them to an extent. So your sense of self is essentially voluntarily altered. I decided to post two examples.

This is Anfa Croga. He is the first character I created and has been one of my favorites. He tends to be a lot like me personality wise only more intense. He is a bit more antisocial and socially inept than me, while at the same time being more confident and lacking in anxieties I express. He tends to er on the side of pessimism and rage. He doesn't really care about his own life either, this is because he doesn't really see himself as useful or necessary. His purposes are, first and foremost to take care of and protect his younger sister Atheera, and his wife Valena. And second is to avenge the deaths of many loved ones. Orcs killed in terrible ways all but the last two of his loved ones, and therefore he hates orcs viciously and will potentially kill them on sight even if they aren't threatening him or anyone else.

The second character is named Zanatas Uzza. He is almost seven feet tall and is viciously strong. He is a paladin of Fate. In his worship of Fate he has made an agreement to do Fate's will all the time. The way he determines Fate's will is to flip a coin. This coin has Hercules draped in the pelt of the nemean lion. The other side depicts the three fates in a way. He also carries a battleaxe that he uses to carry out Fate's judgments. There are 9 specific tenant of Fate, and if anybody disobeys them, Uzza flips the coin into the air and before revealing it gets them to guess which side of the coin it is. If the individual guesses wrong it is Fate's will that their thread be cut and they die. If they guess right, they live. He also makes many decisions based on yes or no questions determined by the coin. This makes it frustrating to play him sometimes because while he is a genuinely kind individual he has to obey Fate. This means that he will kill anybody who breaks the tenant and guesses wrong, even elderly or children. It is very extreme but luckily the tenant are hard for most to break except particularly egregious or bad people. Good or good natured people generally don't have anything to worry about with him.
