Persona - Becky Weber

an attempt to capture the surface of passing gas giant planet.

A nebula I saw from the window, I hope to return and explore some of it.

A rare planet with a thick neon field around it - we will be sneaking onto this one soon. I drew this while we worked out our infiltration plans.

My name is Zvezda. A space pirate - well, ex-space pirate if you're the authorities. There was some trouble with the last ship I was on and resulted in me losing my left arm and ultimately leaving that crew. Luckily I slipped away with enough money to get my own ship and to buy a bionic replacement. Bionic arms don't have nerves so I have to relearn how to hold things and to apply enough pressure to be secure but not to break. Crayons are a good way to practice, although it can be rather costly depending on what planets I'm able to get my supplies from. It results in many broken crayons. If I had a nickle for every crayon I broke during just one drawing I'd have enough money to pay back those good for nothing scoundrels that back stabbed me. I wasn't left handed or nothing before the accident, and I'm no artist, so these are what they are, don't go expecting Van Gogh.

This was actually fun to do! I really did do all of these pictures with my left hand (I really am right handed) and then when I was done I decided to paint my hand to try and make it look bionic like. I'm not gonna claim it's the best looking bionic hand but it was really fun to do anyway!
