Gift - Anastacia Kadomtsev

The gift that I have been in the process of making is in the form of a little book. I have a small sketchbook, and I’ve been filling it with intricate sketches, doodles, and writing, all specifically designed for the person I plan to give it to. Although the physical form of the gift is a book, to me the meaning behind the gift is the time that I’m investing into it. The gift is not yet finished because I plan to invest many more hours into its creation. To me, time is one of the greatest things that I can give, and I hope this will be conveyed even through a physical object. The end goal, for me, is not necessarily the book, with its drawings and writing, but a demonstration of how significant this person is to me, personally, that I want to put so much time and effort into something so small.
