 I Believe in the Art of a Creative Life

• I believe in the art of dreaming and taking time to scratch down notes, half asleep, at 2AM. 

• I believe in the art of finding your true self seeping through as you step back from the cracking sidewalks of life and observe nature who, in turn, observes you. 

• I believe in the art of playing and being goofy and horsing around with small children, teenagers, young adults, adults, the elderly, and pets, causing you to refresh yourself from the mundane and collect bits of value from each life.

• I believe in the art of travel, finding new places, and exploring the intricacies of places you’ve already been.

• I believe in the art of listening.  No words, no judgments, no interruptions.  Just listening. 

• I believe in the art of taking into consideration the advice of those more experienced than you, whether or not you enjoy their company.  Application is optional, but openness is critical.  

• I believe in the art of critiquing and being critiqued which both take open minds, hearts, and, most importantly, humility. 

• I believe in the art of multitasking and having side projects available for the days you hit a creative wall.  

• I believe in the art of utilizing music that inspires or speaks to you. 

• I believe in the art of taking a step back and basking in the duality of your existence - both horribly insignificant when compared to the stars and vast galaxy, but also unimaginably important in ways you will never fully comprehend.
