McCallister's Manifesto
I can quit if I want to, but it is like breathing or eating, I must create. I feel paralyzed without it. It comes from the deepest part of my soul.
I have never
been good at words, but art is a way I can speak, my sketchbook is my freedom
to express what I cannot say in words. I hope to bring the emotions I have to
others through the blank canvas.
Yes, there
are art classes, and I am glad to learn and grow but you cannot grade
creativity nor give it a deadline, therefore it cannot be rushed.
No one told
me to do it, to make art or pursue it as a career, and most of society sees our
community as the starving artists, yet it I would die from starvation doing
something I do not love.
I am
inspired to create my own future and to create more because of it.
