Sensory Deprivation - Sage Venna & Riley Muir

Blind Date

A Sensory Deprivation Experiment

Rylie Muir & Sage Venna

For our experiment we decided to take away sight, smell and taste.
By making a mask we eliminated sight and smell.
The best part of the experiment was the lack of taste because we had purchased a tube
of mouth numbing Orajel.
We each selected three items of food.
Sage selected escargot, dragon fruit, and flan.
Rylie selected raw potato, blueberry pie, and a frosted wheatie.
We then made cryptic descriptions of each food item.

Sliding in the tall stocks
Can easily be lost in a salty rain
In a paste can ward off those thirsty for blood
Quietly eats, slowly walks, retreats to be alone

The scales will fool you
Protecting a pile of golden taste
Sealed by fiery leafs
A polka-dot seed party

A sour liquid over time
Curdled cattle run the fields
The cattle cry in runny streams
Leaving a trail of sweet caramel

Covered in a protective hide
Deep within the earth it reside
Allowed to grow, it possesses many eyes

Left on a windowsill
Various items used to fill
Its fruit has a crown in bloom

Shredded and woven like muscle fibers
Created by accident

It's part of a balanced breakfast
