Persona - Amelie
Persona - ‘Sabrina’
Personality - Sabrina is a very monotone figure, doesn’t show extreme emotions. Think Mirage from the Incredibles. Will do a soft smile, but that’s basically their full belly laugh. They are like a Secretary, always listening to what is being said and will give advice where needed, but are otherwise a chill figure in the corner of the room.
Backstory - Not much is known about Sabrina, but Sabrina knows everything about you.
Appearance - Well put together, clean appearance. Has a few tattoos tucked out of view, but isn’t afraid to show them. American Traditional style tattoos.
Creative Practice - When work is done or they are waiting for someone, they doodle mandalas. They do their best to replicate the style in their tattoos, and occasionally brainstorm new ideas to take to their artist.
Amelie Henry - Document a Walk
19-22 steps
Feels like a rotisserie, back and forth
Angela the neighbor said hi
Said someone was burning something near my tires
I can see a silver trail
Took a break halfway through, got bored
Going to start back up again
Birds sound nice, can hear Nans wind chimes
Can hear the wind in the trees
Flapping flag
Maybe earlier in the day would’ve been better
Lady was on a jog with her kid in a stroller listening to general conference
Grandpa came back from his walk, said uphill was good for walking
Lots of cars drove through
Janet’s still alive

Paige Ison - Document a Walk
This is a pathway that has been formed in my backyard over the last 5 or so years. This path leads from my back door to my dog's pen where we let her out everyday. I walked on this path for around 35 minutes. In this time I noticed how many things have grown around or pushed into this path.

1 Photo, 1 Minute: By Joshua Fielding
In this photograph lies a picture of the Sistine Chapel. A beautiful and exquisite example of Renaissance artistry and a significant staple of that period’s history and prominence. Its history is one of just as much significance and drama as it is beautiful. Its creator Michelangelo was an artist in every extravagant sense of the word. A man so dedicated to his craft, he considered eating that of a reluctant necessity as well as wearing his work clothes and boots to sleep so he could waste no time getting ready. Among his various mannerisms, which coincidentally is also the name of an artistic movement he inspired (Mannerism), was his unwavering pursuit of perfection in his works which often contributed to many social interactions going sour. Michelangelo was a short-tempered, irritable perfectionist that resented any external control over his works. When he was commissioned for the ceiling, he argued until he was allowed, in his own words, “to do as I liked”.

Sarah, July 17th, 2018, photo by Korilane Henry
It is a tradition, of sorts, to cut one’s own hair in my family. From an early age, if you can hold a pair of scissors you follow the instinct to cut your hair. You grab what you can see and reach, cutting it. Some cuts are close to the scalp, and others feather out around the ears. Eventually, all that is left is an incredible mullet of hair. My mom would mourn the loss of hair, as she liked to put it in braids and pigtails, and she would take us to the hairdresser to salvage what was left. However in this case, my elder sibling opted to ‘even it out,’ buzzing what was left of the hair off. My poor mom bought many bows and headbands to put on the buzzed head, it was the only line of defense against people assuming Sarah was a boy.

Photographer: Yousuf Karsh
This is a portrait of Winston Churchill by Yousuf Karsh and one of the most well known portraits in photography. After Churchill had just given a speech, Karsh was given only two minutes to take a portrait. Churchill whipped out his infamous cigar and started chomping down on it. Karsh gave him an ashtray to set the cigar aside but Churchill ignored. So, Karsh waited for a while then made sure all of his equipment was set up properly then went up to Churchill and snatched the cigar away from him without permission. By the time the photographer got back to his camera, Churchill had a stern and annoyed look on his face and that’s when Karsh decided to take the photo.

Jake in his display at Marshes free museum in long beach Washington photo taken April 2009
Jake the alligator man is one of my favorite cryptids/museum things. He was found in Florida and then taken by a group in Long Beach Washington and put in museum. His backstory is that he loved to party. When he was found he gained a cult following and they even threw a party for him. I remember when I was little visiting the museum and walking up to the glass cage and thinking that must be what mermaids really look like. On his birthday the owners dress him up and give him alcoholic drinks.

This is a photograph of Neil Sedaka. Neil was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 13,1939.He attended Abraham Lincoln High School ( where the photo was taken) and graduated at the age of 17 in 1956. He soon found his passion for music and later became a well-known famous songwriter/ singer from 1957- To Today.
His first big hit began in 1959 when he wrote the song “Oh Carol” ; it became such a big hit that Neil later wrote “Calendar Girl” in 1960 and “Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen” in 1961. He later sold millions of records, wrote 500 songs and collaborated with his good friend from high school “Howard Greenfield” and “Phil Cody”.
Neil and Howard became one of the original creators for the “Brill Building” sound that was built in 1931. They were also the first to sign with Don Kirshner and Al Nevins at Aldon Music. Aldon Music soon had Neil Diamond, Carole king and Paul Simon among many others signing with them. They soon became the center of the “pop world”!
Though Neil Sedaka is very famous it wouldn’t have been possible without the help and support of his loving wife “Leba Strassberg” . They got married in 1962 and had two beautiful children, their daughter “Dara” and their son “Marc”.

My Persona - Lucía Rodríguez
THIS IS MY PERSONA.
IT IS ME.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO BE, WHAT I LIKE TO DO AND WHAT I WILL BE.
Genesis Persona
A quick warning for some scary images, flashing lights, and naked body (not actually naked nor does it have the actual parts of a woman just the general shape with x's on top. Tho it's important to know if your not comfortable with it)
What inspired me:
This persona is supposed to be my intrusive thoughts as a person. It is heavily inspired by Ena which was created by Joel G. I have started therapy but since the last two years I have been dealing with bad intrusive thoughts. I originally tried making them stop by either gently shaking my head to the side, tapping my head, or holding onto myself. Slowly this has turned into me hitting myself full on, jerking my head to the side, or grabbing/scratching thankfully not to the point of injury. It scares me each time I do it and I don't wish to do it. My therapist described it perfectly as it being compulsive. The only thing that was helping stop it before therapy was being around others. The anxiety of I can't do it here or else others will worry made it so I don't often do it in public. Thankfully I am going to start getting help for it but I thought this project would be a good way to express this thing since I often try to hide it.
Character info:
This is alarm. Alarm is a humanoid shadowy figure that has two blocky hands that control their arms at random times. they are often seen crying unless their thoughts are projected. When that happens their eyes become staticky and expression blank. This is the only time they won't be crying. Overall they are rather shy and reserved. When a thought is going to appear they become panicked and try to get away from those around them so they don't see. The blocky hands during thoughts will grab onto the arms and control them making Alarm do things they don't want to do. Once a intrusive thought has reached its peak the hands will grab the thought from the head and project it for everyone to see. A different version of Alarm will appear and show the thought on a screen. This thought version of Alarm is more chaotic and carefree. They talk very similarly to a game show host and will try to convince the person watching that this thought was made by Alarm and that they wish to do it. Alarm afterwards will try to deny the accusation clearly distraught. Alarm would probably be in the Ena universe chasing down the great runas to wish for their thoughts to go away.

Genesis instructions
Creating a Musical Design
Step 1. Find a partner and pick a song you both like.
Step 2. Only read the next step, listen to the song once, then do the next step.
Step 3. Create a set of rules for when you draw while listening. Some examples are long lines at long notes, multiple notes do swirls, lyrics do stars ect.
Step 4. Listen to the song one more time and draw to it using the rules the two of you set up.
Step 5. Compare the pieces you have created to the same song and notice how despite having the same song and rules you both created different pieces.
