I furthered the ideas and tone that inspired my in-class flyers. I went one step further and made the piece more personal. I was chemically dependent on benzodiazepines for almost a year. My doctor prescribed them as though they were vitamins that all self-respecting Utah women take. My doctor just added more pills on top when the original ones lost their effect. I still am tempted to take them, even though I know the risks and effects, so to work through that, I put what would have been about a week's worth of Xanax on a tear-off flyer. I can't control if others actually do take a tab, and I didn't make them unusable. If someone or even I didn't mind hot glue with their alazopram, they would be viable.
