Do It / Do It Again - Clint Stevens

“Animal of My Eye”

1. Draw an eye large enough to adequately fill the space of the provided loom.

2. Draw a picture of an animal face in the center of the eye (iris/ pupil area.)

3. Simplify the drawing to a basic design that can be turned into a stencil. (basically just make sure that  all the sections of the piece are connected in some way so that design elements aren’t lost when cutting our the stencil.)

4. Once you have the stencil cut out and ready, tighten the provided fabric to the provided loom, lay your stencil over the fabric, making sure only the areas you want painted are uncovered.)

5. Spray paint the stencil, let dry and remove stencil.  You’re done!

(you can interpret these instructions as loosely as you wish, I really appreciate your help with this project!)

I had a few friends and family do these. For the second attempt I tried to reverse the concept and use cardboard with embroidery stitching.
