Gesture-Justin Cresswell

The gesture I chose to repeat was coughing. With all the Covid-19 hysteria, I thought it was appropriate to use the beloved symbol we've come to know and love and cough all over it. Enjoy the new coloring of the old canvas symbol.

Gesture - Jaiden Kinsey

For my gesture I actually did the motions of a shoulder stretch I do as I am in pain often. I used VR to go with the motions of my stretch.

Gesture -IV Jo

MIf the video doesn't load. I did head shoulders knees and toes. I chose this and the multi colored paint to represent child hood and how messy, and energetic they are. They don't have much regard for cleanliness, and are often chaotic. I feel all of these aspects represent children fairly well.

Gesture - Anastacia Kadomtsev

My gesture was taking some crumpled-up newspaper, repeatedly dipping it in paint and throwing it at the paper.

Gesture - Sage Venna

For my gesture I did a repetitive poke into a paper. I originally was going to use printer paper but it was hard to make a consistent dot. The final product was using a thicker water color paper that was hard to poke but made a more consistent mark. I might try to fill the entire window when I get more paper.

Gesture - Rylie Muir

For my gesture, I focused on my hands and the repetitious movements they made while I was entering, using, then exiting the shower. I wanted to include more than one movement.

Gesture - Zane Tibbs

So what I did for my gesture is that I had the pencil in my hand and moved it to where it makes the gesture that you are throwing a frisbee with just your hand and no arm movement.

Gesture - Becky Weber

My repeated gesture was the motion I make when I wash my hands.

Gesture KennadeeDutson

My gesture is driving a manual car. I learned to drive using a manual car, my high school car was manual, and I just bought a new, manual car. Even though I wasn't planning on getting another stick shift, it has started to become a part of my identity.

Gesture-Alex Baxter

I repeated the gesture of the same painting stroke. I just started painting and whatever shapes came out I let come. I did do some cleaning up of the lines and shape after the paint dried

Gesture - Max Oliver

So for my gesture, I did a posture my hand does the most during my time at Snow. This is how I position my hand when I'm typing, or hovering over the Ctrl + Z keys whenever I'm drawing. I chose this because of its normality, but its foreignness when having a pen stuck between the fingers as it's done in the image. In short,  it was a painful way to draw, and it had issues where it would shake and make some scratchy lines.

Walk a line - Jaiden Kinsey

I decided to take a random route from my home. Then I would take a direction where I saw any pinetrees, and any pine-tree I saw I had to touch.

Here is a link of me touching all the trees

This is not a literal map but more where I went and in what order. I documented the little details I saw.

Walk a line IV Jo

RAIN PEBBLE
I walk a path that's wet and dark
Calm and cool beneath my feet
Early hours feel so Stark
But rainfall sounds just like my heart
Pitter patter pitter patter, steps they take
And peaceful Paths they quickly make
Little friends I see so clear
I pick one up that's oh so near
But heaviness is all I feel
Continued rainfall makes me kneel
Fed by rain it quickly grows
When will it stop? Only the rain knows

Walk a Line KennadeeDutson

I walked a line that I most often drive. I walked the block around my house and payed attention to those little things, and the big things. I documented my line with photographs and audio (which isn't included here). I wrote down the thoughts I had throughout the walk. I said things like "I can't wait for summer, the sun feels so good today. Not only can I feel summer inching closer, I can also hear it. I hear so many birds chirping like sound glitter. I can hear kids playing and crying, and dogs barking along with them."
