Mental Health: Understand what a healthy fortitude to combat anxiety + depression looks like (Is it the ability to do it alone?) This is a photo of me and my younger brother. We are in my Grandparents’ old house, and I believe the watermelon is fresh from their garden. Their old house is a log cabin, and Grandma still has the cabinet seen in the background, now placed in my great-grandparents home that has been renovated a few times. I was around eight when they moved homes, so I only have very few, foggy memories of the cabin while they were living there. The most memorable are family parties where there were so many relatives present, it was always packed no matter what part of the house you were in. Now it's dusty, and half of the walls were knocked out for my grandpa's tool shop. It has been inhabited by the occasional raccoon, and we are still sorting through old stuff from that home.
