Manifesto- Anthony Ryder

  1. Be persistent- if you stop trying, you’ll never get there
  2. Push yourself- the more often you push yourself the more goals you will obtain what you that was unattainable.
  3. Make lists- You’ll forget a lot of ideas, goals, art pieces, etc. If you don’t write them down
  4. Constantly build your influences- it allows you to reach new realms and break constructs
  5. Constantly study/ educate yourself-being self-educated allows yourself to push yourself to new extremes. Knowing just the surface of an idea leads to the cliche
  6. Love what you do- If you don’t like what ideas you are making, your work will suffer
  7. Don’t “brand” yourself - you like a lot of things! Make them regardless of their content in comparison of your previous work.
  8. Everything is an investment
  9. Never stop working- when you are not wanting to do art, do it. When you want to work do it!
  10. Art is meant to do something- Not just be a pretty thing on the wall, it’s meant to heal, to burden, to think, to experience.
  11. Don’t be afraid of vulnerability- your art is your safe space

Personal Manifesto - Jamyn Scarlet

Breathe in. Breathe in all the way using your stomach.
Don't separate from your body, stay connected to yourself.
Control the hamster. Keep your mind moving with fresh material, don't get stuck on the wheel.
Everything is an experiment, treat it as such.
Be aware of your surroundings, what do you like, what would you change, why?
Always ask, except for permission.
Allow yourself to always be learning, from anyone.
Fear is the ultimate thief.
