Persona - Isabella Erickson

I am Issac Havens, I study the world of Astrophysics-specializing directly with the study of wormholes. Starting my love for space with movies such as Star Wars, Alien, and The Thing I am always looking to expand my knowledge of space and the knowledge learned from my colleagues. Although I am no artist, there is art found in math, and the study in space is full of it. It may be hard for others to appreciate that beauty, but when understood (just like the world of art) more understanding and appreciation can be found. Just like how art works like a puzzle, so does science, and when everything comes together, it creates a beautiful masterpiece.

Ash is an artist in the 1990’s in Portland, Oregon. He associates himself with the punk/grunge scenes. He also works in graffiti and street style art. Many of his works include commentary pieces on world issues, representations of his angsty emotions, and punk band references. The piece I have created in the persona of Ash is a piece regarding the band, “Rage Against the Machine,” and the message of the saying, that being, fighting against the capitalistic/oppressive structures built within the American society. This piece is an expression of that emotion.
